Eligibility and Selection Criteria
The eligibility and selection criteria for enrolled Hostos students is as follows:
1. Currently enrolled students who are not eligible to receive other forms of financial aid or scholarships.
2. Students must be enrolled as either part-time (minimum of 6-credits) or full-time (minimum of 12-credits) per semester.
3. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Students must demonstrate: (A) financial need; and (B) emergency need(s).

Award Summary
• One $500 scholarship will be awarded per academic semester.
• Consideration will be given to students who demonstrate an interest in community engagement and service.
• All students, regardless of nationality or citizenship status, are welcome to apply.

• * Once Awarded this is a one-time scholarship
  All applications and required materials must be submitted online through the scholarship system. Paper applications will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
