The NYCPA’s Moynihan Scholarship Fund Announces Accounting Scholarships and 2025 COAP Program
The Moynihan Scholarship Fund (MSF) offers scholarships for accounting students based on financial need and academic performance. The program is administered by MSF, a 501©(3) organization.
NYCPA Chapter Scholarships, also administered by MSF, are funded by the generosity of members and donors. Please read the requirements carefully, as these are unique to each chapter. You can use the same link to apply for NYCPA Chapter Scholarships and Excellence in Accounting scholarships.
Scholarship Details
Students may qualify for more than one scholarship. Please read the details below to determine which scholarships you qualify for.
MSF Scholarship Award Amounts vary, with a maximum amount of $2,500 per award.
MSF will strive to Submit Scholarship monies to each school before the end of the fall semester (or the Spring Semester, at the latest).
The Excellence in Accounting Scholarships Requirements:
You’ll need to email your 2025‒2026 student aid report, financial award letter, and your official transcript from your university to scholarship@moynihanfund.org.
400-word max essay describing your background, career aspirations, volunteering activities, and why you are deserving of the scholarship. You may use the same essay to enter multiple awards (if eligible)
Please provide contact information for the person(s) for letters of recommendation. It is encouraged to select “Request now” when completing the letter of recommendation portion of the application so that your recommender receives the request as soon as possible.
