The 1199 SEIU Scholarship

Thanks to the generous support of 1199 SEIU, the Hostos Community College Foundation would like to offer three scholarships of up to $1000 each to students in financial need and with a declared major in the Allied Health field. The Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time or part-time need-based student pursuing an associate degree in Allied Health.

• The student must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or higher.
• A personal statement essay must be included explaining the applicant’s career goals and aspirations and how receiving this award will help them achieve their educational and career goal.
• All supplemental questions must also be answered.
• Applications must be submitted online through the scholarship system.
• * Once Awarded, this is a one-time scholarship.*
