The Feiner Family Scholarship

The Feiner Family Scholarship for Extenuating Circumstances: The scholarship will assist students who are currently facing housing or eviction issues, which may prevent them from completing their courses for the current semester.

The Feiner Family Fund Scholarship for Financial Need: Students facing outstanding medical bills, overdue electric bills, past-due childcare bills, assistance with books, tuition balances, and other academic-related reasons are eligible to apply.
To qualify, students must:
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty member, staff member, academic advisor, guidance counselor, employer, or supervisor
- Be currently enrolled as a Hostos student
- Answer all supplemental questions in as much detail as possible
- Have a demonstrated need for (eviction notice, outstanding medical bills, overdue electric bills, past due childcare bills, assistance with books, tuition balances, and other academic-related reasons are eligible to apply)
- Submit documentation that supports the needs described (if you experience issues uploading your documents, contact the scholarship office for assistance; info provided below).
Students can only apply for one financial need or extenuating circumstance; it is a one-time award.

  All applications and required materials must be submitted online through the scholarship system. Paper applications will not be accepted, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
