The Bronx Element Leadership and Social Justice Scholarship

The Bronx Element Leadership and Social Justice Scholarship is offered to matriculated students in good academic standing, with a clear and demonstrated penchant for public service. Two letters of recommendation from the CUNY administrative or academic community are required.
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:
- Submit a 500 – 750 max words essay explaining their history of community service
- Submit 2 letters of recommendation from CUNY faculty and staff
- Answer all supplemental questions
- Be currently enrolled at Hostos
- Demonstrate a history of community service
