The Honorable Hector L. Diaz Scholarship

The Honorable Hector L. Diaz Scholarship Fund has been established to provide support to Hostos Community College students who are pursuing their associate’s degrees. The Honorable Hector L. Diaz Scholarship Fund is intended to assist students with tuition support who are entering their final semester and have exhausted all other financial aid benefits. Additional criteria for the scholarship have been defined as follows:

• Student must have a GPA of 2.3 or higher
• Student must demonstrate a history of service with underserved communities or a commitment to work or volunteer with underserved communities during the funding period
• A completed scholarship application provided by Hostos Community College
• A biographical statement
