Bronx Rising Initiative Scholarship

The Bronx Rising Initiative Scholarship was established to provide two (2) $1,250 scholarships and 10 hours a month of mentorship for matriculated freshman students who are in good academic standing. Eligible applicants must:
Submit a compelling essay (minimum 500 words) detailing:
1. Discuss your strengths, experiences, and other traits relevant to your educational goals and long-term career objectives.
2. Please describe your long-term goals post undergrad.
3. Is there any other information that you would like to share that has not previously been presented? (Accomplishments you are proud of, awards, grades, sports, volunteering in your community, etc.).

Preference will be given to those who resided in the Bronx during their senior year of high school or presently reside in the Bronx. This award is granted without consideration of financial aid or immigrant status
