OMICRON CHI CHI NURSING SCHOLARSHIPS

The Omicron Chi Chi chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Incorporated, a professional nursing organization, is pleased to announce the 2023 student Nursing Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to qualified applicants based on scholastic achievement, financial need, and community service. Applicants should be in pursuit of a nursing degree at the associate’s level or higher. This year 4 Scholarship awards will be given, these include $750 for one A.D. and one B.S.N student each and $500 for one M.S.N and one Doctoral student each.
The deadline for submission is April 1, 2023. Please contact the Scholarship Office for the Application form.
Criteria for Omicron Chi Chi Merit Nursing Scholarship
1. Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program (A.D., B.S.N., Masters, and Doctoral)
2. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. -please include a copy of the transcript
3. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
4. Applicants must write an essay (500 words maximum) expressing how they have contributed or plan to contribute to the nursing profession through innovation, leadership, and/or peer mentoring.
5. Additional items to accompany the application in support of the candidate’s eligibility and desirability may include documented evidence of:
a. participation in student nurse activities and
b. involvement in the Community, i.e., letters, news clippings, awards, certificates, etc.
c. membership/participation in professional organizations
