The 1199 SEIU Scholarship

The Hostos Community College Foundation is pleased to present five scholarships of up to $1000 each to students in financial need who have declared an Allied Health major, thanks to the generosity of 1199 SEIU. Online submission of applications is required using the Scholarship system. Only applications that are complete or submitted via email will be taken into consideration.

The Scholarship will be awarded to a full-time or part-time need-based student pursuing an associate degree in Allied Health.

The student must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or higher.

A personal statement essay must be included explaining the applicant’s career goals, and aspirations and how receiving this award will help them achieve their educational and career goal.

All supplemental questions must also be answered.
