The First Step / Juan Bosch Scholarship

The First Step / Juan Bosch Scholarship results from funds awarded by the First Step Medical PC- Dr. Julio Sanchez. This scholarship will be used to make awards to deserving students in all majors and profession program/s to continue their education.

Criteria
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.50, or higher
• Provide a personal statement (minimum requirement of one full page in length) reflective of your character and background; educational and professional goals; community service experience(s); and how receiving this award will help you achieve your goals.
• Intellectual inquisitive motivate students essay of 500 words about the literary work of Professor Juan Bosch about Don Eugenio Maria de Hostos, the Educator, or the literary works of Professor Juan.
• All Majors
• Two letters of recommendation. At least one reference letter should be from someone in the profession, such as a faculty or staff member. References from family members will not be accepted.
• Copy of your transcript.
• You must attend the Dominican Heritage Event on Feb 7th.
