NYC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

The New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Award The mission of the New York City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, (NYCHCC), is to represent and advocate for Hispanic business in New York City in a cohesive manner which will assist new entrepreneurs, vitalize existing business and the success of Hispanic businesses. The NYCHCC is also committed to helping Hispanic students succeed academically and to effectively achieve their professional goal. To this end, the NYCHCC will provide Scholarship Awards to those Hispanic students that meet the following criteria. [Distributions of Scholarship Awards are limited.] l. Candidate must be is a United States citizen, of Hispanic descent, who is matriculated in the City University of New York. The candidate must maintain a 3.0 GPA and be in good standing. 2. The candidate must demonstrate a need for financial assistance and an interest in playing a supportive role in the Hispanic business community. APPLICATION Please complete the following application in a clearly printed or typed format. You must also attach your college transcript; resume; a one page essay describing your professional goal and why you should be a Scholarship Awardee; and, two (2) letters of DEADLINE: October 28, 2022
Please note that for the student to receive the scholarship, they must attend the 17th Annual Hispanic Business Award Banquet & Scholarship Ceremony on December 07, 2022, at Maestro’s Caterers.
