Terry O'Banion Student Technology Awards

The Terry O’Banion Student Technology Award is an exciting opportunity for outstanding college students who intend to pursue a career in the technology field. The League for Innovation is now accepting nominations for the 2020-2021 Terry O’Banion Student Technology Awards from League Alliance and Board member colleges. This award honors two deserving students with special talent in technology, strong financial need, and a passion about moving toward a career in technology. Winners will receive $2,500 each toward education expenses (e.g., tuition, fees) and a plaque commemorating their achievement.
Award winners are designated as a Student Technology Champion or Student Developer Champion. The Student Technology Champion award is presented to a student with a career interest in a technology field. The Student Developer Champion award is presented to a student with a career focus specifically in software development.
Nominations will be accepted through October 30, 2020. Please refer to the guidelines for detailed information. Each member institution may submit one nomination for Student Technology Champion and one nomination for Student Developer Champion.
