Encore / Hostos Community College Foundation Scholarship

Thanks to the generous support of the Encore Capital Group, the Hostos Community College Foundation is offering two scholarships to help defer the cost of tuition, fees and/or textbooks. The Scholarship will be awarded to two full-time or part-time need based student who is pursuing a certificate or an associate degree. The student must have completed at least 6 credits and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits. Applicants must also have a 2.0 GPA or higher per semester and remain in good academic standing. Students must include a personal statement.
TO BE ELIGIBLE STUDENTS MUST:
-Have completed and be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits
-Have a 2.0 GPA or higher
-Submit a personal statement describing their financial need
-Submit a 250 word minimum, 750 maximum essay explaining their academic and personal goals
-Demonstrate financial need in accordance with the Financial Aid office guidelines
