Mildred Hernton Award

The Mildred Hernton Scholarship is a posthumous homage to Mrs. Mildred Hernton, a former senior Center for Learning and Teaching and charter member of the Department of Natural Sciences. The award consists of a check and a medal presented to a graduating student who has completed at least 16 credits and achieved a grade point average of 3.7 or higher in Biology as well as an overall grade point average of 3.5.
